Audi Calls back 70 000 cars.

This service campaign refers vehicles with 2.0turbo diesel engine, manual gearbox and Luk clutch. Cars with Sachs clutch system have no defect.

As Audi representatives asserted the problem lies in gearbox functioning when some drivers try to hold jerky accelerations at low gears. Besides, officials stressed that service campaign involves cars produced and sold in Germany since June, 2003 till June, 2004.

For memory, last year Volkswagen Touran compact vas were called back for servicing for the same technical problem.
