Chrysler US market grew 2.6% in 2006

DaimlerChrysler AG Concern US office market volume in February, 2006 grew 2.6% up to 190 400 cars compared to February, 2005 with 185 600 vehicles, according to recently published company sales return.

Particularly LX platform based models (Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Dodge Magnum) sales reached 30 020 cars with 68.7% increase to 2005 ratio with 17 900 ones. Jeep market increased 10%, up to 39 600 cars.

For the record, on January, 6 Chrysler Group officials announced that the company planned to increase its cars manufacturing rate 43% and bring total output to 3.5 – 4 million cars a year. Remarkably that Chrysler has no plans to extend working areas or extend its staff supposing to reach the purposes listed via modernizing its production facilities.
