Consumer Reports US Market Cars Ranking

Consumer Reports, American respectable periodical published recently US market best automobiles ranking. This rating is developed basing on Consumer Reports own tests, data from government and car manufacturers though the main reason for conclusions on over 20 models served car owners impressions.

In fact, it became obvious that first positions were occupied by Japanese cars of Honda, Toyota and Subaru. Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Honda Ridgeline and Odyssey were ranked first in their categories with high safety level marked added by high dynamics and pleasant fuel consumption. Acura TL, Honda model offered to US car market was named the best car in sedan $30 – 40 000 priced class.

In luxury sedan category (over $50 000) Infinity M35 became the best car leaving behind models of BMW, Mercedes and Cadillac. According to Consumer Reports the best “Fun to Drive” category car is Subaru Impreza WRX/STi proving that real sports car can be obtained just for $35 000 (US market).

In addition Subaru Forester was named by Consumer Reports journalists the best cheap off-roader car.
The best SUV priced over $30 000 named Toyota Highlander Hybrid; this car was featured out for comfort level, spacious inner compartment and outstanding fuel economy given preserved dynamics.

Lexus RX400h with the same engine type became the only off-roader model gained highest ranks in all aspects. Toyota Prius was named for the third time most ecologically friendly car. In fact European and American cars showed unenviable results this year.
