Fiat Ducato to Be Produced in Russia

Severstal- Avto (SVAV) has reached an agreement with the Fiat Group for producing Fiat Ducato in Russia. The production is planned to start at the end of 2007 in the town of Elabuga (Tartarstan).

The enterprise production volume is 75.0000 units projected. The greater part of the production is meant for Fiat export markets. At the moment SVAV has a license agreement with the Fiat Auto for producing Fiat Palio and Fiat Albea as well as Fiat Doblo with production started in 2007. Besides Fiat cars, SVAV produces automobiles of UAZ and SsangYong.
