GM $200 Millions Advertising Budget Cut

In efforts to overcome financial crisis GM Company diminished its 2006 US region advertising budget for over $200 millions making totally $1.3 billion. The cuts will touch oldest makes – Buick and Pontiac, while main energies GM will focus on new models – first of all SUVs and pick-ups.
Saturn make will get valuable advertisement investment and more over, its budget will be enlarged in 2006 as Saturn releases new Sky roadster model, Aura sedan model and Outlook crossover body model. While Buick and Pontiac brands will get more suffer without apt attention. Cadillac and Chevrolet models’ advertisement budget will be the same as in 2005.
In 2005 GM advertising expenses were $2.5 billion including $1.5 billion on US general and $1 billion – on regional and local advertising.
