New Nissan Factory in Russia Alleged by 2009.

Nissan will invest $200 millions to erecting assembling factory in Russia. As informed in Nissan press release the new assembling factory will be established near St. Petersburg while Nissan car manufacturing will be initiated there by 2009. The estimated production volumes is alleged at 50 000 automobiles a year given the expected staff number of 750 employees. The Nissan new factory will manufacture models adapted for the Russian car market.As provided the main reasons for the new factory settlement for Nissan were such factors as presence of qualified labor, opportune geographical location, favorable business
environment added by support from St. Petersburg authorities.Currently Nissan cars supply to Russia performed by Nissan Motor RUS which possesses the status of national trade company though with full Nissan owned capital. The company commenced functioning in January, 1, 2004. It includes 100 employees and deals with wholesales of Nissan autos, brand spares and accessories via dealers network numbered 30 centers. So the 2003 Nissan sales rate in Russia amounted 9 470 cars. After establishing Nissan Motor RUS sales grew up to 28 436 in 2004 and 46 485 in 2005.
Remarkably that Russia will be the first European car market that will be officially honored by introduction of Infinity brand in autumn, 2006.
