Nissan announced scalable call-back service campaign as 560 000 of Nissan X-trail and Nissan Primera cars throughout the world produced between 2000 and 2004 in Japan were alleged with fuel tank flood socket defect. It is clear now that those cars were sold in Japan, Canada, Europe and some African countries. As Nissan asserted the defect of fuel tank flood socket may cause quick corrosion and fuel leakage.
The problem relates to near 466 000 of Nissan X-trail off-roader model and 94 000 of Primera various versions. By far the defect is found with 49 vehicles but there are no cases of accidents known by Nissan.
