Ford Focus CNG Gas Technology Unveil

Ford Company will introduce to AMI Show in Leipzig its new pre-serial version of Focus CNG with natural gas using engine.

This Focus model in estate body has 5 fuel tanks with one arranged under the bottom and 4 in trunk bottom. Using gas only new Focus CNG can cover 30 km at one full charge but given one of its tanks is gasoline bearing 55 liters the model gains 1000 km distance capacity.

Under the hood Ford Focus CNG disposes of 2.0 engine producing with gasoline 145 h/p and with natural gas – 126 h/p ratio. Ford asserted that model manufacturing launch is planned for September, 2006.
