2006 World Best Automobile Ten Defined

Global “2006 World Best Automobile” contest started in 2005 initially was estimating 27 car models. The jury includes 43 journalists from 23 countries: 5 - from the US, 4 – Japan, 3 – Britain and Canada, and the rest 1 or 2.

Remarkably France and Italy playing major roles in European “Car of The Year” contest are represented each by one journalist only.

As a fact, the first year of contest brought its first winner – Audi A6 was ranked first. The ten of candidate cars selected 9 cars originate from Germany and Japan.

The winner will be defined via secret vote in the end of March and celebrated at New York international Auto Saloon, on April, 13. In addition the jury will name the most beautiful, the most sportive and the most ecological car.
