Best 2005 US Family Cars Ranking

American Automobile Association (AAA) issued a list of best US car in 2005. The ranking was based on survey performed in collaboration with Parents Magazine, popular periodic. In fact, the readers of the magazine were putting their votes for “family man best cars”.

The best minivan-category was named Chrysler Town&Country, Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. The best off-roader – Nissan Murano, Volvo XC90 and Dodge Durango. Best among sedans became Honda Accord, Chrysler 30C and Toyota Camry. Leaders in estate class were named Subaru Outback/Legacy, Mazda 6 and Ford Freestyle. And finally in compact class best cars became Mazda 3, Honda Civic and Scion xB.

Remarkably to mention the reasons used for winners defining. These were traditionally for US rankings features like number of glass-holders, convenience of capacities for various trivia, driver vision capability, economy, reliability and etc. dropping dynamic and driving features of cars.
