Usually students and quite often senior pupils in Nothern America have cars.
The American journal “Money Magazine” made a favour to help parents who want to buy first car for their children. Specialists prepared the list of seven cheap cars that suit in the best way for young people. Their original price doesn’t exceed $16 000. Besides all the seven are multifunctional, have high safety level and fuel-miser.
1.Dodge Caliber. The original price is $13 425. The vehicle has been highly estimated by NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) in the crash tests. It has an optional antilock braking system and standard front airbag. As for now only automatic gearbox is proposed, but the Chrysler Company is going to produce a mechanic one with more powerful engine.
2.Ford Focus. The original price is $13 450. The vehicle has high NHTSA estimation in the crash tests for frontal and lateral impacts. There are optional side airbags, antilock and antiskid braking systems. It’s a small cute vehicle with high fuel economy rate. Although there is an estate model of bigger caring capacity.
3.Honda Fit. The price starts from $13 850. The car hasn’t been crash tested by NHTSA for frontal and lateral impacts. It has standard antilock braking system and front airbags. The car is small but economic and has rather big caring capacity. There are paddle shifters on the wheel.
4.Mazda 3. The price starts from $13 710. The car has been positively NHTSA estimated for frontal and satisfactory for lateral impacts. Front airbags and antilock braking system are optional. The subcompact is much more attractive than Miata sportcar and more practicable.
5.Scion xA. The price starts from $12 780. Good evaluation in NHTSA tests for frontal and lateral impacts. Standard frontal airbags but optional antilock braking system. It’s small and very practicable.
6.Nissan Versa. The price starts from $12 450. The car hasn’t been crash tasted by NHTSA. Front airbags are standard, but antilock braking system is optional. Actually Honda Fit is much more enjoyable, but Versa has a lot of cheap extra equipment.
