2006 Volvo 60 Renewed Introduced

Volvo Company announced first information concerning its renewed version of Volvo S60 model. Volvo S60 experiencing second face-lifting in its history will be available in car market allegedly in the foreseeable future.

Though renewed Volvo S60 hasn’t brought many innovations compared to previous version. In front S60 attained modernized radiator grate with new emblem; new headlights, modernized both bumpers design as well as side sidesteps brackets.

In addition new Volvo S60 will be equipped with new wheels line and original side mirrors with turning light signal imitators.

The inner compartment trim of renewed S60 is radiant with new materials applying including aluminum while several versions of Volvo S60 will be attached with sporty steering wheel upholstered with perforated leather.

Technical maintenance of Volvo S60 as alleged was not revised but the suspension which was tuned to work softer. The engine line-up of Volvo S60 was not reconsidered as well.

In fact, the previous modernization of Volvo S60 came in 2004 while thorough modernization is expected in 2008-2009. According to some hovering data Volvo leaders intent to remove S60 model from the manufacturing program by Volvo S40 new generation model. Still the official confirmation of this hasn’t appeared.
