Cadillac BLS at Threshold of European Car Market

Cadillac BLS finally appeared in 164 dealer shops’ and Cadillac & Corvette specialized centres’s disposition throughout Europe. General Motors leaders project to reach the BLS de luxe model sales level of 10 000 a year. Comparing to other Cadillac models with sales planned at 20 000 annually without essential changers meant up to 2008.

BLS came as the first Cadillac business luxury class sedan model imparted with turbo diesel engine with direct injection fuel system. The engine line includes though petrol 175, 210 and 255 h/p engines accordingly.

In fact Cadillac BLS is offered in three package depending versions: Business, Elegance and Sport Luxury. Each of them dispose of 16-inch light-alloy wheels; front and side airbags, board computer, cruise control and steering wheel with leather cover. At the same time the most luxury version – Sport Luxury – is notable also for xenon headlights, leather seats with heating control, R18 wheels and sportive suspension.

As for pricing, Cadillac BLS basic version starts with 27 590 euros, the most expensive version with 6-cylinder engine – 35 590 euros.
