Honda Civic Type S

The Civic three-door version hatchback will be launched under its own index - Type S. For the first time the car was shown off at BIMS. Type S is equipped with either 1.8L petrol VTEC or 2.2L diesel engine. Either of the engine is of 140bhp. The car runs 60mph in 8,2 seconds and capable of a top speed of 130mph. Average fuel consumption is 28mpg (urban), 46.3mpg (extra urban), 37.7mpg (combined). Type S has a three-bar grille, a revised tailgate and rear bumper ensemble as well as 16-inch alloy wheels, a small rear hatch spoiler and side rubbing strips. The car has traction control and cruise control systems, an air conditioner, ESP, 4 airbags and a dash centre panel. A saloon is trimmed with leather; pedals, a wheel, a shift lever, etc are covered with polished aluminum.
