Lexus Introduced New Lexus LS 600h Hybrid

Lexus introduced to the currently taking place New York International Auto Show its new Lexus LS 600h L premium-class hybrid sedan model of 2008 model line.

The Lexus LS 600h hybrid is equipped with 5.0 V8 engine with direct injection fuel delivery added by two powerful electric engines and electronic transmission with variator enabling new LS 600h possess 430 h/p – the rate typical for V12 6.0 petrol engines.

New Lexus LS 600h is also radiant with AWD given the fuel consumption amounts to the one of AWD attached sedans with V6 engine. In support to this LS 600h gained SULEV certificate – Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle as its emissions rate is 70% lower to the competitors.


New Lexus LS 600h also has ultra-modern APCS (Adaptive Pre-Collision System) security system. The cameras installed to bumper twined by several short-wave radars aimed to detect any object on the way of Lexus LS 600h. One more camera is set on the steering tube in order to track driver’s behavior; and in case of perilous situation and driver’s passiveness the APCS first makes cautionary signal and then starts automatic braking.

Lexus LS 600h for the American car market will be delivered in elongated sedan version though the official information about sales start has not appeared.
