In fact, there is hardly a single automobile enthusiast that would doubt the M6 Convertible posing the genuine open-air version of extra powerful and high-performance BMW M6 model.

Now BMW M6 Convertible stands out as a unique performer featuring the internationally acclaimed engine of the year – the 5.0-litre V10 producing an awesome multitude of 507 bhp and maximum torque of 520 Nm. Developed for supreme dynamics suspension and a Sequential M Gearbox (SMG) completed with Drivelogic transforms BMW M6 into a pure spirit spory car with capability to jump to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds only.

Equally to all of BMW’s M Cars, the new BMW M6 Convertible also features four exhaust tailpipes at the rear.
As a fact with 4,871 mm in length, new BMW M6 Convertible comes up more than 5 cm longer than the BMW 6 Series due to its rear air dam, destined for supreme aerodynamic performance.
Special theme is the roof of new BMW M6 Convertible: it is made of three layers. A special noise and heat insulating layer of polyurethane foam comes between the rubberized outer layer and the interior roof lining. A vertically positioned rear window can be electrically adjusted to move up or down, regardless to the roof position. Remarkably the roof of new BMW M6 Convertible itself can be opened or closed either by remote control or via a button on the instrument panel taking less than 25 seconds.

In the interior the BMW M6 Convertible is shining with a wide range of stylish and practical features. Due to the driver-oriented cockpit, all vital functions are arranged on or around the steering wheel. The iDrive controller, housed on the centre console, is positioned for accessing by both driver and front passenger, and offers a wide range of amenities via the control display.

New BMW M6 Convertible is imparted with a speedometer and rev counter housed in tube-shaped rings featuring black dials that stand out clearly in white, while indicator needles themselves come in traditional BMW M red.
