New Infinity G35 in New York.

At the New York International Motor Show debuted the renewed Infinity G35 sedan. Remarkably that the curtains from G35 were unveiled by of Carlos Gosn, Nissan chief executive. This was performed to stress the importance of the Infinity G35 model for the company.

Infinity G-series as a whole makes one third of infinity total market and becomes often the first Infinity for customers. This explains the earnestness and special attention to the model.

The 6-cylinder petrol VQ35 engine was basically redeveloped: its redline torque grew to 7500 rev and power capacity – up to 300 h/p. The transmission for the new G35 will serve 6-speed manual and 5-speed hydro. The new Infinity G35 will be manufactured in rear- and all-wheels drive versions. The inner compartment of G35 is radiant with stylish aluminum inserts resembling traditional Japanese rice paper as well as two-color white-violet dash-board lighting.

In fact, Nissan destines Infinity G35 as the BMW 3-serie and Lexus IS challenger. US car market sales of the model will start in November, 2006.
