Off Road? Audi Allroad will help you

Audi, 2005, Allroad C5 MY04 Wagon 4dr SA 5sp 4x4 4.2i

I want to tell you about Audi allroad Quattro. Yeah, Allroad plus Quattro technology. It's not your illusion… Let’s talk about Quattro technology.

In March of 1980, Audi offered all wheel drive sport coupe in Geneva. It was the first car, where idea of all wheel drive or four wheel drivewas realized(before it was used only on heavy tracks and on off road cars). This idea was born in winter of 1976/77, when Volkswagen was testing their military off road car Iltis. Quattro system showed great car control on snow and ice, and result of this feature was Audi 80 with Quattro feature. In that year was transact development work, as result of this work was creation of sport coupe Audi Quattro.

Now, after 25 this technology is still using in most cars of Audi AG. You can meet this technology in Audi A6, A8, old cars like Audi 100, Audi C4. But full features of this unique technology you can feel only in one car – Audi AllRoad Quattro. If you like traveling in mountains or take part in some off road adventures or you like comfort, safety and sure driving...I think you must take at least test drive of this car.

You need some power, this car offers you a whopping 258 lb/ft torque, compelling power and performance whether mated to a short-throw six-speed manual or the versatile five-speed Tiptronic automatic. You need more proofs about power? Ok, in petrol version, engine has 5 valves per cylinder for more power and speed performance. And your next question will be, what about clearance. Ok, read this, at higher speeds, the vehicle's ground clearance is 142mm. At out of town speeds it raises it a full 25mm. For moderate off road and local driving, ground clearance is 192mm. For severe off-road conditions at speeds under 25 mph, maximum clearance is 208mm. What do you think about it? Cool? I think, yes! What about stabilization control, does this car have one of this systems? Yes, this car has four (4) systems; it is ABS, EBD, ASR and EDL. These systems are organized in one network ESP (Electronic Stability Programme). This system helps you to drive safety by comparing actual driving data from sensors with reference data. Ensures greater stability at all speeds, by braking individual wheels as required and overriding the engine management system.

So what do you think about this car? I think it is high perfection of technology.
