What do you expect to see when you hear the phrase American’s car? Yes, big and voracious monster... But it can not be said about this auto, because STS is the bird… well maybe it is little bit heavy… like a pelican ;) but still I consider that this is graceful vehicle I have ever seen! It occurred a remarkable auto in Europe in 1996 because of its 300 hp under the hood. And even now it looks quite fresh.

It has soft suspension like all American cars though. It wasn’t created for sunken roads – it likes straight and flat highways where you can get impetuous acceleration… yeah! I just amazed with its automatic gear box synchronization, with quick shifting and acceleration reaction, immediatel and smooth. It hits 60mph in just 7 with odds second! Not bad for pelican, isn't it? I don’t know about what brake system it has but it is perfect! I purchased my STS absolutely new in New York at the auto dealer’s saloon and since I used it on my own, so I can judge about its advantages and disadvantages. There are almost no problems with it really, it is very reliable car. Only I change regularly bulbs, oil… and that's all. Let me give you a piece of advice to visit auto repair shop and talk about it with mechanics before car purchase. I had done the same before I bought my Cadillac and got only positive reports, that time STS was developed for ministerial duty. I think that it proves the reliability of this model…

Another plus it is front wheels drive. I use all season’s tires and winter show newer put me in spot ;) it has enough dirigibility even for icy road. It is rather comfortable car there are even some features that could amaze every fastidious driver. Maybe rain sensored wipers now is not something extra originally yet though it's an amazing feature. But its windscreen liquid distribution when water flows from the middle of wiper and evenly distributes on the windscreen surface instead of ordinary jet washer is something unusual. Also I like wipers are removing under the hood immediately when they are turned off; it is pleasant trivia. In addition I am enjoying with its side headlights that switch on when you turn and illuminate your way. I love my Cadillac and I'll definitely buy another newer model of STS soon.
