This is my first car and I imagined before purchasing that it will be reliable, comfortable and safe. Into the consideration were taken also: VW Bora, Mitsubishi Carisma, Toyota Corolla and Ford Focus. After I had tested all of these models I chose my car Peugeot 406.
Everything of this car is accorded to the D class of automobile although its price is just if it was C class vehicle. In addition I took very attractive car loan.
Well my car is model of 2003 but I bought it new from official dealer at the end of 2004 absolutely new. Now I have used this car for one year and summary mileage at the moment of writing this car story comes to 16,500. My car package includes: Traction Control and ABS systems, air conditioner, climate control, PAS, airbags for driver and front passenger, velour upholstery trim, wooden inserts, power windows, mirror control, auto alarm and CD+radio player.
The engine with 1.8L displacement outputs 117hp and it provides quite enough dynamic for me. The car is equipped with manual gearbox and in addition has roominess passenger compartment. I also like its ergonomic and totally satisfied with it.
My car more over has good visibility I like it too. One little thing that makes me irritate is plastic mud flap and low rear spoiler. Also it combines not bad dirigibility with soft suspension and reliable brakes.
I can say nothing bad about my car maybe because short term of owning… I hope later write more detailed story about my car and give you additional information.

By rmcexmgx on 01-17-2006:Your car story raised my childhood memories and I remembered that once my favorite dream car was Peugeot Maxima, it was red colored, very low clearance and very fast, I was mad about it often looking it more and more.

It's the first time I encounter a story about such a roomy car of this class.
