Eagle, 1993, Vision 4door sedan 3.3 ohv V6I have been using my car since 2000 and now its total mileage something about 200 000, from there mine is 150 000. I have not had special problems with it. I will try to describe everything in my car story below.
The weak spot of it is suspension. The front absorbers I had to replace every 20 000. I was buying only brand ones. There are also the same Japanese Tokico Performance (HB3092+HB3093), Monroe Gasmatic but they didn't fit to my aggressive driving style. I use SplitFire SF6F6 spark plugs and swap them every 18 000 using 87 octane fuel. There is problem with front brake’s discs they warped immediately if you drive into puddle after long slow downing, so I install perforated Power Stop Autospeciality… The other problem of 3.3liter engine is camshafts bowing. After 190 000 I swapped both camshafts to Mopar Performance about $275 for one, in addition was installed Boost-controller (Jet Chips) fuel rate increased for one liter but my car dynamic improved very much, it changed work of ignition, injection system and gear box. Automatic gearbox was not ever repaired for all the time I was using my car only gaskets two years ago. I regularly change ATF (every 5 500) and only Mopar ATF4+.
Frankly speaking my car LH modification is quite reliable and friendly maintenance. Prices for repair parts are not high and you can find everything without problems. Only it should be served by skilled mechanic. The other plus was that I could use almost all tire sizes, in winter time it is Cooper 215/70 R15 and for summer Toyo 235/60 R16.
I still love my car very much however I am longing for coupe and soon I buy new car Chrysler Sebring Coupe LXi (V6 3L) and my old car will be sold soon.
