First Love car story - Maxima
First i'd like to tell on my first car - Nissan Maxima, I owned for 6 years, from 1996 up to 2002, I sold it then.
Tpo tell the truth Maxima was my dream car and I was endlessly happy when I got it. Two years I used it were splendid time, I felt happy driving this powerful vehicle and facing no bothers with repairs. Maxima 1994 model you know has 194 h/p, engine - turbo compressed but 12 valves. Very torque car but I managed to make serious tuning put on it perfomance supercharger, with perfomance muffler, and intake system kits - finally I got 230 h/p and better acceleration. This is cool. But after two years I faced first problems with gearbox. It was manual 5 speed, front drive. Well, the 1 gear wheel broke first, I swapeed it, it seemed ok. I forgot about it for half a year. Then both gearbox shafts were revealed close to breakage as the diagnostics witnessed. I could beleive my car can be so un durable as i thought before buying it Nissan Maxima is one of the best here.
I also decorated my Maxima with new disks and sports tyres and many other inner accessories like steering cover, dash cover, new mats - well I was not saving money on my car because I loved it. I invested so much energies, emotions and money into Maxima that first after I sold it I felt quite empty and exhausted.
Now I own another car but that's another car stiry I guess.

Man, if you managed to make such a cool car of a 1994 job, I'm just wondering how you could upgrade an ultra-modern sport car!
By rmcexmgx on 01-31-2006:I don't like Japanese cars except maybe Honda, and Nissans never were to my taste. If my car is by some way maxima I'd sell it soon I guess..

Maxima not bad car quite reliable maybe cause was additional power? It was created for sportive driving not for comfortable. Anyone could choose what is most approach to him or her. Write another car story about your currently auto.
