Alfa Romeo, 1999, GTV GTV 1.8 T.Spark 16V
This car has super appearance, handling and dynamics. This is right choice for Italian car lovers. When I purchased my car I was searching for individuality, beauty and dynamics. My car totally satisfied for this. The kerb weight of my car is only 850kg where half is weight of the engine. So it is not necessary to run engine at high rpm.
I have not any problems with maintenance to my car. The every spare part is easy to find and all of them are available at reasonable price, I can afford it though my incomis average. What I was surprised with it is that engine needs excess oil. Exploiting every day I have to add one liter of oil every month. However service mechanic told that it is quite ok for this model, and I don’t worry about this.
Only one problem I recovered was unstable engine working, and bad starting when temperature is lower than 15 Celsius degrees below. Thanks God there no such weather often in my county however about one month a year my car stands in garage and I drive my second Dodge Ram truck, very good car for backcountry as Alfa perfect city’s ricer.
What I might add to my car story that my car personalized excessively for one person – driver and all.
