Oh yeah, I know this ultra-cool fast car costs a fortune, just as if it were really made of gold...

But what can keep me from dreaming about having it?

Perhaps if I were a professional racer, not just a mechanic, I wouldn't even need buying it in order to get one... You know, sometimes the rich car owners just gift these cool sport cars to the drivers managing to win the race, because their victory brings fame promoting their car brands as the fastest and coolest ones, like Ford, Nissan, Ferrari... or Holden ;)

Once I watched a big car race on TV, perhaps that was Nascar or Grand Prix. Perhaps it was a rather promotional event than sport, but yet I was immensely impressed by the way these coolest world cars worked during the race and the way their drivers handled them.

Obviously I cannot know for sure whether Holden applies its best technologies when constructing all their jobs, but the very fact that this graceful Monaro came to finish almost a minute ahead of all the rest competitors seems to be a strong evidence of the enormous dynamics peculiar to the cars of this brand!

The Australian Holden Monaro 2005 that won the race I watched had the following cool specs:

3.8-liter 6-cyl engine making 230 horsepower, 275 torque; 6-sp(!) manual transmission, solid disc brakes, (of course) light sport suspension and low clearance, plus all kinds of electronic driving support systems like ABS, traction control and special power steering.

Maybe after reading all these dream-car stories about 1000-horsepower concept cars you've read on AMC you're not that impressed, but I really like this Australian sport car.
