Would you like to check $ WD transmission of your SUV? Just follow recommendation mentioned below.

By way of checking the SUV with “part-time four wheels drive” transmission (when the main drive mechanism is back axel without interaxal differential gear) and “full-time four wheels drive” you should select flat ground site or asphalt sprinkled with sand. Then turn on the front axel (for the “part-time”) or lock the interaxal differential gear (for “full-time 4 WD”) and start driving on short radius taking turns on stepping and depressing on an accelerator, then turn around and do the same to the opposite direction. If the transmission is in good shape it will not make flicking, blowing, jerking. Slight “twitching” (as if somebody is gently pushing the SUV) is tolerated.
