This auto was purchased for me in the end 2004. Before I drove only in my auto school with an instructor. So it is my first automobile. I am driving it already for one year and have only good impressions. I like my KIA's unusual appearance, it make people to pay attention especially to its funny front. I think that now Korean autos have high quality, not worse than some average European has. My Picanto package includes 1.1L engine with 65hp, mechanical gearbox with 5 forward levels, two airbags, immobilizer, front seats and rear window heating. In addition when I bought it I was able to install PAS and automatic gear set. But I think that for such engine it is not necessary to pay excess money. I am 5’ 11’’ tall with 256lbs weight but I feel myself quite comfortable inside. The steering in sportive style, good visibility, only A-pillars are slightly wide. But due to good rear view and wing mirrors there are no problems. Big pedals of accelerator, clutch and brake you don't miss it. Harmonious gear stick lets you easily shift levels. The auto heat works without problems, I am using my KIA every day and it is very important for me to feel comfort. Some words about dirigibility; it is impressing for such baby especially brakes, very reliable. Fuel consumption comes to 37mpg for urban driving and 57mpg for highway. Now I have run about 30 000 and it totally satisfies me. This car is really worth money I paid. But of course I visit repair shops regularly for schedule maintenance renewing. It could be perfect as second family car.
