I've been owning Lexus IS 300 for 4 years already, divine vehicle with no shortcomings but the price though I felt ok buying it, it costs its every euro. I got my IS in 2001, it was not so cheap in comparison with the same class BMW and Mercedes but I was subdued by its high quality and outstanding design. In fact Lexus has always been the headliner in many manufacturing aspects like design, engine dynamics. These are though he main ones to my mind! Given all this I took IS with estate body so my car in addition is a useful one. I like car's appearance a well as the inner decoration. The dashboard is very nice-looking and easy-to understand, very well thought through feature. The seats are cosy and soft. The car is arranged with every necessary control system like ABS, Driving Stability Control and others, I don't remember them..Really to understand my words are true one needs just to glance at the car, that's all! My IS has V6 engine, 3.0 cubic displacement with 214 h/p, due to advanced fuel injection system and 24 valves. It is a powerful car with cool acceleration capacity. And don't fear the fuel consumption is near 8.5 extra urban, in city cycle it takes usually near 14 liters. Anyway driving my Lexus caters me endless pleasure. The only thing disappoints me - soon I had to sell the car. It is 4 years old and here in Monaco laws treat cars with considerable mileage not so well and in some 6 months I'll buy another car, maybe it will be a Lexus too!
