I think everyone has heard about Rolls Royce! But have you ever heard about the Maybach brand?
This company was lunched by Wilhelm Maybach and his son Karl Maybach. He was a German manufacturer of engines for zeppelins and later large and luxurious automobiles.
Between 1921 and 1940 Maybach produced lots of classic rich cars.
It set the highest standards of luxury cars production in the 20 years they lanched about 20,000 autos. Now Maybachs cars priced between $300,000 and $400,000. Only a thousand or about this are handmade every year. Building on this tradition of quality,
The Maybach comes in three models -- the Maybach 57, the Maybach 57 S (the S stands for "special"), and the Maybach 62. The 57 and 57 S are both 5.7 meters long, and the 62 is 6.2 meters long, hence the model names. The 57 and 62 models are nearly identical except for the length. The extra length of the 62 is used to increase the rear seat leg room. They also produce new Maybach Exelero concept car that was shown in May 2005 at the IAA in Frankfurt.
Another details about this car that no matter it is high-performance car, it has not bad sportive features. It is equal and sometimes even better than Chevrolet Corvette, high-performance sport car!
