Mitsubishi Outlander 2003 my iron friend

Added 1651 storyThis is my second auto after Subaru Forester. So I can compare it. I bought a used Outlander although there where only 2 000 km at odometer. Its fuel rate is about 11 liters per 100km. I was wondered by its very silent engine’s work… it produces almost no sounds idling.
Well in my humble opinion it has not friendly onboard computer interface however it is very captivating doodad you can see outer temperature, current and average fuel rate, daily run, distance run; you are able to drive with residuary fuel in the tank...and more useful options. Moreover I don’t like the cheap hard plastic interior.
Now good news – very comfortable driver’s seat, perfect visibility: compared with Forester it has bigger side mirrors. Also I have noticed that Outlander has better dirigibility because it doesn’t heel on sharp turns as Forester does… The trunk of Outlander has less space than Forester but it has more comfortable rear passenger compartment. When this auto was developed engineers paid proper attention to safety. Due to constant all wheel drive and big clearance it has enlarged off road abilities; it lets drive on snowdrifts and road’s borders. This is auniversal SUV not a real off roader! You should remember about this. I advice if you want to buy this auto take one with 2.4L/159hp engine or diesel with turbo charging.

I have a frien with an Outlander, he says this is very dirigible and comfort car. I know Mitsubishi very well. I own a Verada model and quite pleased with it.
