Before Intrepid I have used Chevrolet Lumina 1996 but two years ago I came to the decision to try something new and I was choosing between Chrysler-Concord, Chevrolet-Impala, Nissan-Maxima, Toyota-Camry and my current Dodge-Intrepid. I chose the last one…big, easy handling on any speed, spacious, reliable and safe... all these features you can find in Intrepid… and not only this. Total mileage comes up to 150 000 miles and approximately 30 000 since I purchased it. Standard package included: Anti-blocking Braking System (ABS), air conditioner, Power Assisted Steering (PAS), two airbags for driver and for front passenger, power windows and side mirrors… very comfortable cruise control into 48 – 135 mph speed range and high quality automatic gearbox. Well its 3.0L engine could output 275hp. This is very comfortable auto: everything located on the right place; all buttons, levers etc… you can easily get to. Very good upholstery quality and well looking. But steering adjustment is not comfortable…but in the rest it is superb car especially its audio system – just amazing! There are lots of place on the side seat, I used to seat there and listen my favorite music.

The front visibility totally 100%, the rear little bit worse because of its big back but I am used to driving and it is not a problem now for me. However it has very spacious boot really!!! After my previous Lumina it has improved headlights but still it is not superb.

Another thing are dynamic and power of this car. It reminds me a sports car or tuned street racing one. I‘m totally pleased with its dirigibility and flexibility on any road. I am really having rest when I'm driving my Dodge. The transmission works with small delay, I think it is because of overweight. The average fuel consumption is about 19 mpg. Another shortcoming of this auto - weak breaks comparing with its weight. Moreover I don’t like that this car has lots of sensors, in my opinion absolutely unnecessary, frequent changing of oil and brake‘s shoes.

But anyway this is very attractive car because of many reasons. Next car I want to try is Ferrari.
