My baby Volvo V70
I would like to tell you the story about my car. 3 years ago I bought my Volvo V70 Estate. I bought used car, the model of 1998 year, covered 245,000 km.
My good friend has car repair shop and I came there after purchasing. I changed all filters, lube oil, safety belts and idler pulleys. If I only knew I would change pumps, it must be changed together with other parts. Also I changed disc brakes (front and rear) and brake shoe. There is 5-cylinder diesel engine with output 140 hp in my car. In 3 years I covered 120,000 km and changed lube oil, filters, brake shoe for this time. In 100,000 I changed shock absorbers and steering tube. The pump that wasn’t changed opportunely began to creak in 20,000 km, so it also was changed.
Thus, I have the Volvo V70, 1998 year, covered 365,000 km. General condition can be assessed as normal. The oil consumption: 0.5 liter per 15,000 km, goes normal, fuel consumption is 7.3 liters (mixed circle city-autobahn), at 120 kmh – 5.5 – 6 liters, 140-160 km/h – 6.5-7.5 liters, 180 km/h – 9 liters, 200 km/h - 11 liters. My car is very comfortable, its equipped with much stuff, there is just no seats heating and power seat, cruise control, automatic air conditioner, radio, but unfortunately there is no GPS system.
Well in conclusion I want to say that I really glad about my car.

After reading your story I can see that Volvo is a really cool car brand! Both their prices and product quality are jsut adorable! Volvo and Saab produce such cool cars so I regret there aren't many other Scandinavian car enterprises.
