Volkswagen, 2003, Bora 1.9 Highline, 4doors sedan, 4 speed auto.

Well first I recover all advantages of my car. It is multifunctional ESP system, it helps even at snow with summer tires, in my opinion it is even better than Mercedes’ ASR. Other thing I like is fuel rate of 1,9TDI 74kW engine, something about 6,5liters/100km for city and 5/100 (liters/km) at highway. In addition it has not bad dynamic characteristics for diesel. Rear seats could be lay down and this makes more luggage space.

This is all about goods. Now what is bad? My previous car was BMW 525i E34, it was super car and unfortunately it was broken in car accident. It is impossible to get same model in good conditions now, so I became searching for my new car. It wasn’t thought out choice and I took this car. Bora – I wonder how I was blaming that day! Who calls good car so disgusted Bora. Of course I understand that it is name for some winter but don’t you agree this is sounds awful.

I use it already for three months. And though it wasn’t any breaks still I really hate this car! This is good sample about what is car shouldn’t be like! Very uncomfortable, even my BMW model of 1991 was much more comfortable. I can’t adjust it for my height 182cm. You tired driving it always, even at short distances. There no place for rear passengers, I don’t quite understand why it needs rear doors? For its money is not good inner trim. I mean quality of upholstery and vinyl. There are constantly rattle form the front panel. It doesn’t make a noise only when it stands or at highway when my car speed over 100km/h, it is because outer noise mutes inner. The noise proofing is absent absolutely.

My car story conclusion is that there were no car I have ever tires worse that my current Bora. This car was created for bad moods only this is why after driving it you feel that there are so much beautiful things at the world. For example BMW ;)

This is true about that many things depend not from the car manufacture but from the owner too. However the true that there are unsuccessful models, and every car producer have it. Another thing if they admit guilt... that's the question.

I consider the opinion that there aren't bad cars, there are bad owners (as I am, for example) who don't care about theories cars. Guys what do you think about this. We just only should love our cars and they will paid this in back. (I heard this words somewhere here at forum, and totally agree with it.)

Your car of the 2003th is not so outdated, I think...anyway it's strange that i have such problems with Volkswagen, try to consult a professional.

Man, you are not alone on this earth. I have almost the same problems with my Porsche Cayenna. But I didn't know that Bora could have such problems. Cheer up.
