My car Toyota Corolla GTI AE92

Hello. One year ago I bought Toyota Corolla GTI, AE-92, the 4A-GE engine. My car is good; however, it’s the model of the 1990 year. The engine is powerful one – 116 hp. I like interior, windows and mirrors, but there is no sunroof.

First thing I made were arches of the wings. They rotted in that place where bumper fixes. I decided to consult specialists and they said that it would be better if to swap all front. I used glass fabric and epoxy adhesive. I made everything with the only help of my own hands, understanding that the rust will appear sooner or later. I had to face some small problems. Rubber hoses of the oily radiator had to be swapped and also I welded inlet pipe.

My car behaves very well itself on the road. At 120-150 km/h its better not to gesticulate by hands. Tires: R14 185/65. I went fishing and to the countryside with my family by my Toyota. Children liked very much to spend the night in the car. Folding rear seat allows getting free space for two people, super!!!

I’m about to swap fuel filter in 10-20 thousand km and rubber stuff with time. The rest of the parts functionate normal way. People say: “Parts expensiveness is requite with its infrequent swapping”. So all I want to say is that I’m satisfied with my car.

Toyota provides good quality, however all its cars are boring... I say it positively, good classic, reliable cars which will serve you for ages... if you didn't smash as I did with my car :)

You car is kinda outdated, however it stands well on the wheels. I'm thinking about to buy new family car, and after reading your car story I think I'll buy Toyota Corolla.
