I was lurking AMC for a month reading your brilliant car reviews and I decided to tell you my Dream car story.
My dream car is a hyper-economical ultrafast diesel designed by Opel, titled ECO-Speedster. Initially I was wondering what the ECO prefix meant - whether that standed for ECOnomy or ECOlogy. In fact it was for both. Despite of a common biased attitude towards diesel engines, Opel managed to construct one making just as little smoke and noise as a usual twin-cam dohc. ECO-Speedster's revolutionary 1.3-liter ecotec cdti diesel engine has absolutely outstanding characteristics, spending unbelievably small amount of fuel driving its light (650 kilos!) perfectly streamlined body (0.2 drag coefficient!) with truly racing speeds. Max power of this splendid car is slightly over 175 horses, making about 200 mph.
Basically this Opel job is a concept car, but I'm certain in a year or two it's going to be commonly available due to its marfellous characteristics and vanguard batmobile-like look.
However it's going to be very expensive because this car's whole body is made of complex alloy possessing unique weight and durability characteristics.
You know, I just dream about this car and hope that one day I'll manage to get it, perhaps through lottery or with Opel promotional discounts...

I remember the times when I had such dream cars too. Of course they were fast and cool but now I want to own Chevy Malibu - that's all ! And soon my dream car will be my current car!
