My cool and fast car Grand Pri
Pontiac, 2004, Grand Prix 3.8L v6 4dr sedan 4speed auto
For long time I was thinking of how I can spend my money. There were Mazda 3 Sport, Ford Focus SVT, Mini (not cooper), Toyota Celica (pimpmobile with dead engine) and Pontiac Grand Am GT (2004) but none of them could satisfy me. May be only Pontiac’s engine growl I like most of them. Last summer I saw Grand Prix 2004 model and immediately took it for drive test. The thing I realized this is my car doubtless! I liked its predatory appearance.
So I saved up some money, some I took as car loan and after two months I purchased new car, fast and cool Pontiac Grand Prix. This is car of the dream! Because rear wheel track is wider that front (front is wider than usual cars have), low body (that is mean low center of gravity) handling and stability of Grand Prix just amazing.
Sportive suspension of my car is very good for highway. The engine is very flexible and you can drive car in wide range of torques without gear shifting. I have version with 200hp without turbo charging; it could add additional 60hp.
Other plus of this car is on-board computer that has very friendly graphic interface. The audio system is Molson with function increasing sound proportionally with the speed. The minuses of my car are small wing mirrors and enlarged fuel consumption. The other is lack of glove compartment. And there is electronic limited speed at 110mpg. But it could be broken by skilled craft-man.
