This car story includes my humble opinion about Mazda 3 1.6L model 2005 I own. Well this is hatchback equipped with manual gearbox frankly speaking this is second Mazda I use; the first one was my father’s sedan 1.6L with automatic gearbox. I took low interest loan for purchasing this car.

I like design of my car I think it is highly audacious. I consider that Mazda 3 is very beautiful model… but anyway this is my personal opinion… for example I haven’t sympathy for Citroens’ or Peugeots’ models design. But other people mad about them.

I purchased my car from official dealer saloon. I had to choose between sedan and hatchback body types models. So they provided two days test drives for every model. So I had tried both of them and compared every car advantages and disadvantages.

These cars have absolutely different bodies’ repair parts. But hatchback has better aerodynamics characteristic. Although frankly speaking it is not superb for both. Standard’s headlights set includes very good halogen reflectors that provide superb light the city beam work as it was high beam. The fender mirrors also is successfully designed feature and even when it hard rains and you have to drive via dirty road you always have rear field of vision.

The real shortage of sedan is absence of the rear lid handle, the hatchback hasn’t such problem. Both autos have shortage of rear visibility and I want additionally install parcktronic system on my car. In addition I like very much its absorbers… The inner comfort is quite good for me. All the switchers, handles and controllers located at the right place. I have nothing to find as a fault. The one thing that irritated me is its beeper when seat belt isn’t fastened. I have my own opinion about safety and I don’t use seat belt so I passed it behind the seat back and fasten it in this way. Another thing that I don’t like it is bad noise proofing. And after 80mph it is need to speak laud with passengers. And you want drop the speed down. The boot is not big even hatchback’s but it is all right for me.

The dynamic of my car Mazda 3 is not very sportive but engine lets drive car at middle torques and generally everything is adjusted not for fast driving but for comfortable. The onboard computer shows average fuel consumption almost 30 mpg for urban driving.

My car has great dirigibility, slightly hard suspension and increased tire section width gives it improved characteristics especially at sharp turns. In addition just amazing brakes system with ABS and stabilization system provides safe driving.
