This car I am using because my work. I have to travel a lot round the country, from north to south. I am not a racing fan and prefer calm driving. Oldsmobile suits as much as possible for these purposes. It has really American design – big and power. Oldsmobile was my dream since childhood. Now its odometer shows number something like 100,000 miles but I purchased it in August 2000 absolutely new, although this is 1996 produced model. It’s engine displacement 3.8 that gives high torque and 243hp. This monster takes just 8 seconds to reach sixty from the rest. But it is not sportive automobile because of it’s soft suspension. I feel myself comfortable driving it by highways at average speed 100 -110 mph. Its maximum speed 120mph. The gearbox is automatic. Fuel consumption is between 16 – 10mpg.

Standard package includes: air conditioner, ABS, frontal airbags, power windows, cruise control and seat heating.

Passenger compartment is really spacious! And due to its recycled seats it could be transformed in two places bed, that is very important for me as I spend much time in car rather the home. All seats upholster by crimson colored leather and this makes me tremble!!!

I would like it has better headlights and this all. Off course the maintenance is not cheap, fuel rate is little excess but I consider this is the one of the best American’s autos.
