Volvo, 2001, V70 Wagon XC 4dr Man 5sp 4WD 2.5T
This car was my dream for many years and when one my friend offered me his Volvo at low price I agreed without delays… Now this is my car and as I've been using it already for one month I can write story about my car. This is my Volvo V70 XC baby. The package includes: dual airbags frontal and side, leather trim upholstery, power windows, remote mirrors…well seats heating, powered steering, climate control, traction control and ABS.
The engine that sets in motion my Volvo is turbocharged 2.5L monster that outputs 200hp with high torque. I like this. My Volvo in addition equipped with manual gearbox and has AWD transmission.
Comfort and ergonomic of this car is superb, seats and steering column have various electric power adjustments, seats also include lumbar support, and moreover they have memory for three customer positions. Every button, lever and switch is located at the right places and you can easily reach them. The steering is also very comfortable and even after ten hours per day I spend driving car round the city to and fro is not exhausted. My average fuel consumption is 17-19mpg for urban.
And what make this car cool is off road capability. I consider that it has the best in class. Dash board of my car is not cool but it hasn’t any excess and doesn’t distract from the road, like my previous Passat’s dashboard did.
And at last the drawbacks they are here. It is quite expensive in maintenance and slightly noisy passenger compartment. The really my car I bought next will be V70 model after restyling.

Oh, I agree with you, Volvo is a very relaible car, I heard a lot of times from many drivers. But the service of this car is rather expensive. Good car story.

I was in Volvo just once, I was sitting in rear and I can tell that it's a very convenient and cosy car, but the noise proof was perfect unlike your car's.
