Well I bought this auto because of its spacey passenger compartment, although there is less place at back than Scorpio has. In addition it’s equipped with board computer… a very useful thing, I feel myself as pilot ;) Senator has good noise insulation… it is quite inside at any range of speed, also comfortable seats with multi adjustment. Not bad visibility but it is little bit hard to park it, headlights with hydro corrector.
The in-line engine of Senator is very compact 3L 6 cylinder and 24 valves! It provides 204hp!! For changing plugs you should dismantle a half of engine ;) Its automatic transmission has 4 gear levels +winter +sport modes of working. 204hp gives the car a real sportive dynamic, once I had race with 155 Alfa Romeo, I won it easily.
Maybe one thing that can scare away of this car it its fuel input: urban driving 19-20, on highway 7-16, at speed 230kph about 20liters. Engineers have improved in this vehicle its driving abilities and tenacious brakes with ABS. Moreover I like very much its large boot. In general, Senator is a large car for little money, of course it is old model and sometimes it is hard to get some repair parts.
