Pobeda is the proud of Soviet engineers. They worked out a keynote of elaboration many body designer’s studios because later were projected many other autos as “Tatraplan” 600 (1947), “Vanguard” (1948), “Saab” (1949), attentive observer could note similarities in radiator facing with British “Jowett Javelin” (1951). Although it is not right way to say that they just copied elements that had been used in “Pobeda” constriction.
Not only innovative technological solutions made the "Pobeda" car famous. This car became the symbol of victory Soviet Union in the WW-two. Today "Pobeda" is a car that every collector want to have. Recently the concern Mercedes represented collectible version of this auto. They joined M20 with their S-class vehicle and as a result luxury hi-tech modification that made me to remember this legendary motor car.
