Hi! This auto is the same Honda Civic Saga only made in England. It has hatchback body with five doors. I bought my Rover in 2000, it ran 29 000 km for that time and was in very good condition. For first two years there was one problem with starter. It worked badly when the weather was damp. I regularly visited repair shop but the improvement came only after I changed the ignition system. Okay, I will try to describe advantages and disadvantages of it. Well…

Rover 400 pluses:

- Very spacey boot I carried different overall size luggage without any problems.

- Amazing dirigibility!!!

- Well designed aerodynamics. At the speed up to 60km/h there is no mud and water at the rear windscreen in a bad weather condition.

- Reliable bumpers. I checked them myself several times ;)

Now about shortcomings:

- Uncomfortable seats. I feel lack of adjustments. After several hours of driving my back gets tired. The same about rear seats they are hard and uncomfortable.

- Bad noise insulation. After 3000rpm you feel likea pilot of a fighter ;)

- Poor passenger compartment’s design. It has cheap plastic with cracks and easy dust absorber upholstery.

- The car is little bit heavy for its 1.6 L engine.

- Very soft suspension.
