I would tell you about SAAB brand what it was and what it is nowadays. Well SAAB was found as a Swedish aircraft concern in 1937 in Sweden. After WW second they produced cars mostly trucks, and in 1969 Saab merged with the truck maker Scania-Vabis, and between 1969 and 1995 the company was called Saab-Scania AB. At the same time they work out in aircrafts and cosmic sphere. Now SAAB is one of the world’s leading high-technology companies, with its main operations focusing on defense, aviation and space.
SAAB automobiles also have legendary past and of course future. Although in 1990 General Motors bought half of SAAB automobiles they continue producing vehicles under this mark.
They have produced a lot of cars and I would distinguish one.
It is SAAB Formula Junior. It was in 1960 when the Saab new 750 cc engine was created. And they launched new Formula Junior race and this surprised the all motor racing world. The design of new car, that called the same Formula Junior was (of course) advanced. New fibreglass front protected of three cylinder two stroke engine developing some 70 hp. But it wasn’t very good racer, thise car was one of the first and this is the most amazing thing of this car.
