Saturn ION: I'm gonna buy it!
Quadracycle
Added 3 storiesI've been observing AboutMyCar articles for more than a month, and finally I decided what kind of car I need. I'm going to buy it during my Christmas holidays. It's going to be and American Saturn ION car, produced in 2003, a magnificent stylish sedan. As long as I'm not going to participate street-races, its reliable 140 hp (145 torque) 2.2-liter 4-cyl (4 valves per cylinder) Ecotec engine is going to fit my needs well. The maximum speed of ION is 112 miles per hour, limited automatically. I'm going to order a standard 5-sp automatic gearbox, independent Pherson struts, reliable vented discs and all the comfort and safety means available, plus a reliable electronic steering system working in accordance with speed gained. I'm also going to try what a CVT (continuous variable transmission) feature feels like.
What is really special about this car is its unique body styling, designed on the basis of Saturn plastic space-frame technology allowing maximum saloon space and comfort and minimum wear-out. The Saturn standard for sedan saloons is plenty of room for each of 5 passenegs, plus a big trunk admitting much luggage. Another special thing is post-modern design of the dash-board making driving ION a great pleasure.
Both car qualities I value most - convenience and reliability - are peculiar to Saturn ION. I'm going to have it next week! Woo-hoo!!!

By MikkoFinn on 12-27-2005:hmm... before buying it make sure they guarantee it won't break in 3 months. I heard Tennessee cars ain't that reliable.
By Daemon on 12-27-2005:Saturn ain't very famous. Are positive the spares for this car will be easy to get in case of a minor break?
By Http on 12-27-2005:View all commentsI like the car, it's a rare model. Agree Draconian that it really reminds some Honda...Man, why have you moved to this rare thing, I wonder?

Saturn? The technologies they use aren't that popular, both because of poor promotion and low effectiveness imao.
