Seat Leon Top Sport car story

Added 1651 storyMy car I own is Seat Leon, a famous spanish automobile which I bought in 2000, a top sport 1.8 model. I spend good penny for it - $25 000 and expected to use it for very long. It is VW Golf based model, the same wheel base but the production is spanish. Leon Top Sport is 5-doors hatchback, and the main reason I invested so much money was its dynamics cause I do like fast driving. It has 1.8 4-cylinders 20 valves engine, gasoline with multipoint injection and supercharger. With all it the engine produces 180 h/p and 100 km/h speed can be achieved in 7.7 sec only. The perfomance's sportive temper occurs with the first meters covered in this car, the suspension is a bit hard for more sensible driving at high speed, by the way it is 227 top(!), and the best assistant in it is Leon's 6 manual transmission. Using leon for 5 years almost I had not serious problems, it hasn't had many breakages and I tried to care about it properly but this winter in Europe is awfully snowy and cold. The roads even in Spain where I'm from are icy though I can't remember such a winter. The result - two days ago I nearly crashed my car, to tell the truth there was a touch between two vehicles but me and the second driver decided to avoid police and those small scrattches we got on our cars we preferred not to consider and ran away. I hope this case is the last road accident in my life.

COMMENTSBy rmcexmgx on 01-07-2006:I agree that icy roads are an obstacle for drivers but not really so great; all you need is some experience in driving in winter season, winter tires and good car, that's the point just.
By rmcexmgx on 01-07-2006:That's true, the road and weather conditions this winter are awful and driving became a real problem but I hope my father will permit me to drive our VW Phaeton on 14, February. I put this car story recently...

5 valves per cylinder? It's an incredible job, man!
