Here is the story of the first car I owned. It's quite a funny and complicated story how I got it ;)
In 2003 my good friend Justin had to leave for USA urgently, so he had to leave all his belongings to his friends and relations and went there to gain a PhD.
He had a nice Asian wagon titled Nissan Nomad DX he bought really cheap through eBay from a person living in Australia, who was so nice so he paid for its shipping to Europe. Justin repaired it and drove majorly on recreational trips to countryside. When he was leaving he said that I could use it as long as he was studying in the States, I only had to keep it in a good condition and sell it upon his request if he needed money for conducting his PhD research project in Sociology.
This sweet wagon had the following technical characteristics, just average ones, I should say:
petrol engine of 2.4 liter working volume, 5 speed manual transmission, primitive but effective air conditioning system, power steering, alloy wheels, plastic-upholstered saloon, both cosy and roomy.
I maintained this sweet wagon car well and used it for a year before Justin asked me to sell it and transfer the money to him. I sold it in one month to one local farmer for the price Justin asked for it.
