The off-road gentleman

It past two week already since I sold my car Rover. It was taken for three days I publish an add. Now I am sitting and think that it was my mistake, great mistake! Only after I sold it I realize that I love this baby and how I need it. But this is only romantic rubbish in my car story.
The appearance is slightly old fashioned especially if we compare it to modern SUVs; I prefer to call it classic style, this is charm of it, this makes it unique among autos. For the inner my car is a real gentleman. Comfortable and roominess, package includes two sunroof, abs, adjustable seats height, auto dimming rear view mirror with digital compass, nerf bar, climate and cruise controls… etc it is off road dream having smooth speed driving at asphalt in addition. But anyway this is an off road creature. Diesel engine 2.5TD for all 30,000 miles worked without problems. And quite economical, Discovery has one of the most economical engines full tank 25 gallons in combined cycle let you run 450-500 miles.
The real advantage for off roads is the depended front suspension but at smooth road it converts in disadvantages. You should be a very careful driver to keep it at high speed. As I mentioned before this is car not for speed. It was right for me. Now I am thinking about new model of Land Rover. I will write about it in my next car story.
