Subaru Legacy is the queen of my garage I drive most often, the main reason is that I enjoy driving it immensely. Legacy 2003 model is easy to order from Subaru office in USA, it's price is an average one, and its driving, design and safety qualities are very high.

My Legacy is a sedan colored metallic grey, a prestigeous 2.5 GTs AWD model. It has a sexy-sporty look, hard suspension, a 5-speed manual transmission, all-wheel antilock brakes, plus such rare features as limited slip rear differential and variable torque distribution allowing switching between different torque modes, like sport/city/highway/off-road etc. It's engine is a good 2.5-liter 4-cylinder one making 165 horsepower (166 torque).

Legacy's exterior design is a successful mix of conservative and sport styles. As for its interior it's absolutely luxury, trimmed leather and wood. An adjustable driver's seat is outstandingly comfortable and supportive, the front seats have heating; its rear seats are equally comfortable, plus very roomy, so good for having a redhot date with a girl ;) Its trunk is also outstandingly spacious. Another special thing is its high safety in collisions. Once I had a terrible accident with a drunk driver. We both were moving on a high speed towards each other on a moonless night, and occasionally our front fenders bumped in each other, sending both car spinning. The safety system of my precious Legacy was so sensitive so it worked immidiately, filling the saloon with secure airbags and blocking the wheels' movement. As for that drunkard, he was all bruised after his car fell in a dike. My car was insured so I replaced my crumpled fender free of charge, although it took me some time to order a new brand Subaru one.
