My car story is about our unforgettable trip the Alps we dared to carry out recently.

Me and my boy friend very like to travel together and the car he owns fits this hobby in full - BMW 530D Touring model. It has a diesel engine and I like it, this is ecology friendly. He bought this car in 2001, it was not cheap but the car was and is very good, and we never had complaints about it. In addition it has hugh fuel economy as my man says.

Well, and the main topic of the car story..we started in morning on January, 30 right to the Alps entering them from Germany. Our fianl destination point was some swiss hotel high in mountains. The road was hard, snowy and even icy at over 2 000 hight! Our 520 has winter tires and to tell the truth I iniyially was very scared as not to slip into precipice or rush into some big stone but our car was superb and was holding road with "clips" despite my man was driving rather fast for such hard road - he kept in average some 60-70!

And one more interesting thing about our car - its traction, there were some uphill road parts with 30 angle ratio but diesel BMW proved its name - it was running uphill as downhill! Well, I learn from my man that diesels possess better traction and the don't fear to climb some hill at any speed!

We arrived at the centre of the Apls, stayed at some swiss motel, spent there two days and started out home. The way back was so quick and time was passing faster. The way back was less dangerous and without big adrenalin inflows. And by far I was very confident of our Touring, this is definitely one of the best car in the world, thatnks to BMW, they know much about car manufacturing!
