Now, I am having a rest and saw that my first car story about Aston Martin DB AR1 like for you I research for information about new lineup of super cars of my favorite car manufacture. This is Vantage model that were shown in 2005 year at the Geneva Motor Show.
This car shared its name with famous 1977 model that also Virage name. And that later was replaced to the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. Hey, those were the times. I remember because there everything rolling around me. Really now everything seems to stay at one place…sorry for my small flash back. Well this new car of course not as the old V8 there are lines form Ford, actually owner of Aston Martin. But this is the rule. Now everything get into unification and ever super.
2005 V8 Vantage this is two doors for two passenger coupe body style with aluminum frame that supply strong and light weight. It powered with 4,3L quad cam 32valve v8 classic system. It produces 380hp at 7000rpm with 302 ft*lbf of torque at 5000rpm. The notable thing for this engine is race-style dry-sump lubrication which gives it low based center of gravity. This engine in addition hand made. It accelerate 0-60 test just for 4,9seconds, the time of most power predecessor was 4,6 but it had 6,3L engine, was supercharged and had more than 500 horses on the board. In hole I like this new blooded Vantage. But it worth to try it by own hands I think.
Ok, this is enough for now. I will try to continue my serial essays devoted to cool and fast cars made by Aston Martin. I hope we will share my passion and get dreaming about these wonderful creatures.

By rmcexmgx on 04-06-2006:I heard about this car. Aston Martin is one of the best automobile manufactures. And in additional the thing I love in its fast and cool cars is that they always following to own traditionalism and you will never mess AM vehicle with others. Nice car story.

AM cool cars. Not affordable for usual driver but still... can say nothing much about it. I know this car from gangsta rap clips on MTV I saw when I was younger:) heh I like how you write about your passion. You should continue working in this way man.
